DAO Professional Services is a firm of Chartered Accountants with strong commitment to the delivery of high quality professional services to clients both in the public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy. Our firm is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and other relevant regulatory bodies. It commenced operations in 2011.
At DAO Professional Services, we maintain high standard of professional ethics, confidentiality, independence and probity in all that we do. We also ensure that we create value for the benefit of our clients, people and other stakeholders while rendering our services.
At present, our firm operational headquarters is located in Lagos and with a clients’ service office in Port Harcourt. It is the strategic plan of management to develop the Port Harcourt clients’ service office to a full-fledged branch to cater for the needs of our existing and potential clients in the south-south region of the country.
Our focus is building a firm that has a deep knowledge of the national environment in which we operate and an extensive global perspective on issues.

DAO Professional Services gives priority to the recruitment process and training of its people. Our trainee accountants are mostly graduates. We encourage our trainee accountants to take the qualifying examinations organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. They are also exposed to other training programmes that enhance productivity at work and improve their leadership qualities.

Mr. Ovuoma A. Doghudje [ACA, ACTI]
Mr. Ovuoma A. Doghudje worked with Godfrey Konu and Co, one of the leading Firms of Chartered Accountants in Nigeria. While with Godfrey Konu and Co, he led various audit and consulting assignments involving clients operating across all sectors of the Nigerian economy. For instance, he headed the audit and consulting engagements carried out for some of the major operators in the Oil and Gas Free Zone, Onne, Rivers State. The Oil and Gas Free Zone, Onne is reckoned as one of the fastest growing Free Zones in the World today. Mr. Doghudje has a profound knowledge of Free Zones operations and regulations. He also has extensive experience inthe audit and consulting assignments involving manufacturers in the iron and steel industry, shipping and freight forwarding industry, oil and gas servicing companies, hospitality industry, various reputable Charities etc. Mr Doghudje has also handled tax audit and tax investigation engagements as a consultant to tax payers and tax authorities.
Mr Ovuoma A. Doghudje is the principal partner of our firm.
Mr. Ovuoma A. Doghudje studied Accountancy from Federal Polytechnic, Auchi. He is an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and also an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
He has undergone several training programmes on Caseware working papers software and audit tools, (forensic accounting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), IFRS based company income tax computation and tax reporting with Nigerian tax guidelines, audit command language, mandatory continuous professional education etc.) organized by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria,The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and other reputable training institutions. He has extensive professional practice knowledge, skills and experience spanning over 20 years.
